Appeared in 14 rounds for the Mavericks with a stroke average of 94.6, ranking sixth on the team...twice posted career-best rounds of 90, doing so at the Saluki Invitational on March 26 and at the Creighton Golf Classic on April 16...earned her best two-round score of 182 at the Saluki Invitational on March 25 and 26.
Before UNO:
Comes to UNO after two seasons at Morningside College...was a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference all-conference team as a freshman in 2009-10 and helped the Mustangs to a third-place finish in the GPAC tournament...spent two semesters on the Dean's List and received the Athletic Academic Award for earning a 4.0 in the fall of 2010.
High School:
Was a four-year letter winner at Humphrey St. Francis High School...as a senior, was the individual medalist in all events in which she competed and finished sixth at the state championship tournament...as a junior, helped the Flyers to a runner up finish in the state tournament while finishing 11th overall...also lettered in basketball and track, qualifying for the state meet in the pole vault her senior year and in the two mile as a freshman and sophomore...was a member of the Academic Honor Roll in each semester and was also a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal:
Born July 3, 1990...daughter of Joe and Marie Kuchar...has four brothers - Nick, Ryan, Travis and Kenny - and one sister, Kim who played golf at UNO for one semester...majoring in special education and Spanish.
