Pitched for two years for the Bears...named to the DMACC hall of fame after his sophomore season...set school record for strikeouts (93), innings pitched (77.1) and runners picked off (5)...helped the squad earn its first trip to the NJCAA World Series in 26 years...the Bears went 48-18 that year.
North Polk High School
Played all four years on the baseball team...the Comets qualified for the Iowa state baseball tournament and had the longest winning streak in Iowa during his freshman season...saw playing time in the outfield until he began pitching his senior year when he went 11-0 with a 1.40 ERA...was the state leader in strikeouts...received first-team all-state, all-district and all-conference...was named mid-Iowa pitcher of the year...helped lead the Comets to a 32-5 record...runner up at the state championship.

Born July 9, 1988...son of Lary and Mary Beth Baker Conrad...has one brother, Ben who is the head women's basketball coach at Johnson County Community College (Overland Park, Kan.)...majoring in general administration at UNO.
