Mavs Move Final Scrimmage to April 10

Maverick football coach Pat Behrns said today that the final major game-type scrimmage of spring practice will be on Saturday, April 10 at Caniglia Field at 1 p.m. Originally, the Mavs planned to stage a game-condition scrimmage on April 15 off campus.
Behrns said that due to the limited number of players on the spring roster - about 80 - the team would conduct a scrimmage rather than a game. The team will stage three more practice sessions the following week to conclude spring drills.
UNO will scrimmage this Saturday, April 3, for about 90 minutes on the turf at Caniglia Field at 1 p.m. This will be the team's first major scrimmage session since spring practice began on March 23.
