ST. CLOUD, MINN. -- No. 1 ranked UNO captured nine of 10 matches Friday night to pin a 42-3 North Central Conference loss on St. Cloud State at Halenbeck Hall. The Mavericks, now 8-1, will face Minnesota State, Mankato Saturday night at 7.
Eli Dominguez and Patrick Allibone each had pins in the match for the Mavericks. No. 1 ranked heavyweight Les Sigman notched his 43rd win of the season. Sigman held a 16-2 lead in his match when his opponent, Brad Nowak, suffered an ankle injury in the second period.
