Morgan Named NCC Wrestler of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Redshirt freshman Mario Morgan (133 pounds) has been named the North Central Conference wrestler of the week in an announcement by the league office today.

Morgan, a freshman from Chicago, Ill., improved to 24-13 on the year by beating Josh Baldridge of NCAA Division I Northern Iowa, 10-6, last Thursday night in the Sapp Fieldhouse.

The Mavericks will compete in the NCAA Division II North Regional on Sunday, Mar. 2 on the campus of Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minn.
