Mavs Open NWCA Duals with 33-13 Win Over Minnesota

The No. 1 UNO wrestling team opened the NWCA National Duals with a 33-13 win over Minnesota-Moorhead on Saturday morning at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Mario Morgan, Esai Dominguez and Aaron Denson recorded pins, while Matt Baker won by technical fall. George Ivanov, Nathan Sigman and Ryan Pankoke also won matches for the Mavs.

Cody Tyler dropped an 11-1 major decision at 125 pounds Corey Ulmer, and Taylor Escamilla lost a close 6-5 decision to Jon Swart, the only two setbacks for UNO.
