Was the center fielder for Lockport High School, helping the Porters to a 27-9 record and a regional championship as a senior in 2014ā¦hit .420 with seven home runs, 20 RBI, 36 runs, eight doubles and two triples...recorded a .446 on-base percentage and stole seven bases...was named all-conference, all-area and all-state second team...as a junior, hit .391 with a .450 on-base percentage and .504 slugging percentage for the Porters...stole 12 bases, hit two home runs and was a first-team all-conference selection...also led Lockport to conference and regional championships as a junior and sophomore...posted 52 career stolen bases...played for New Lenox Lightning under Coach Jim Abbott and compiled a 60-8-4 record...finished 17th at nationals and tallied a .358 on-base percentage.
