Unbeaten Mavs, Lopers in Sapp Showdown

The Mavericks and Nebraska-Kearney will meet for the 79th time on the basketball court Saturday night, with each team putting an undefeated record on the line. The Sapp Fieldhouse showdown will tip-off at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available by phoning 554-MAVS. The box office will open at 6 p.m.
UNO is 6-0 on the young season, while the Lopers are 4-0. UNK is coming off a win at Wayne State on Tuesday, and UNO off an 80-48 win at home the same night over St. Mary University.
Both teams had 2-0 records in last weekend's Maverick Classic at Sapp Fieldhouse, with each recording victories over Bellevue University and Concordia-St. Paul.
