Men's Basketball Releases Full 2026-27 Schedule

OMAHA - The Omaha men's basketball team released its full 2026-27 schedule Friday morning.
The Mavericks will begin the season with an exhibition game at Minnesota in Williams Arena in Minneapolis on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m.
Omaha will open the regular season at Baxter Arena against Mid-American College on Nov. 2 before heading to Utah for a two-game swing. The Mavericks will face BYU in Provo, Utah, on Nov. 6 before taking on Utah State in Logan, Utah, on Nov. 7. Both BYU and Utah State qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2026.
The Mavericks will begin a three-game homestand against York on Nov. 10, Lindenwood on Nov. 13 and Lamar on Nov. 17 before heading to Las Vegas over Thanksgiving for the 2026 Resorts World Classic. Omaha will face UC Davis on Nov. 25, Pacific on Nov. 26 and Jacksonville State on Nov. 27.
Following the Resorts World Classic, Omaha will return to Baxter Arena to face Mount Marty on Dec. 1 before traveling to Lindenwood on Dec. 5 and 2026 NCAA Tournament participant Texas Tech on Dec. 8.
Following a home game against Sam Houston on Dec. 15, the Mavericks will head to El Paso, Texas, for the Sun Bowl Invitational. Omaha will face Kent State on Dec. 20 and either UTEP or Howard on Dec. 21.
The Mavericks will conclude nonconference play with a road game at Kansas State on Dec. 28 before hosting Park (Ariz.) on New Year's Eve.
Omaha will begin its previously announced 14-game Summit League schedule on Jan. 7 against North Dakota. The Summit League Tournament will take place at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, from March 4-7.
