Herzberg Named Defender of the Week

Freshman Megan Herzberg (Blair, Neb.) was named the North Central Conference's defensive player of the week for her efforts last weekend against Minnesota-Duluth and Wayne State. She helped limit opponents to just 16 shots in the two shutouts. Herzberg shared the honor with North Dakota State's Jamie Graden. North Dakota's Stephanie Pfeiffer was named offensive player of the week with a hat trick against Emporia State, UNO's Jaime Venhaus was nominated after scoring two goals over the weekend.
