Mavs' Semifinal Match to be Aired on KOIL, 1020

UNO's NCAA Division II semifinal match against Metro State will be broadcast locally on KOIL, 1020 am. Veteran sportscaster Jim Kelter will call the play-by-play for the contest, which will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday in Wichita Falls, Tex. If UNO wins, the championship match will also be broadcast on KOIL at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
This will be UNO's third straight trip to the NCAA II semifinals. The Mavs lost in the 2002 finals to Christian Brothers, 2-1, and last year dropped a 1-0 decision to Kennesaw State in the semifinal match.
Two-time Maverick All-American Stephanie Kirby will be the color commentator for Kelter. This will be the first time that a UNO soccer match has been broadcast live.
