Klosterman Nabs Regional Coach of the Year

After guiding the University of Nebraska-Omaha womens soccer team to its third straight NCAA Division II Final Four, Head Coach Don Klosterman was named the NSCAA Central Region Coach of the Year.
The Mavericks compiled a 19-4-2 overall record falling in the semifinal match to eventual NCAA D-II champion Metropolitan State 2-0. Overall, under Klosterman's six-year tenure, UNO has a cool 104-24-4 record. In the 2002 season, Klosterman guided the Mavs to a NCAA runnerup finish; its best place in three trips.
