Mavs Top Lopers for Sixth Straight Win

Junior Lindsay Henjum played and won her first match at No. 1 singles and led the Mavericks to an 8-1 dual win over Nebraska-Kearney Saturday night at Hanscom Park Tennis Center. UNO swept doubles play and won five of six singles matches to win their sixth straight dual and go to 7-2 and a perfect 4-0 in the region.
In doubles Pam Le and Maggie Russell improved to 3-0 at No. 1. Henjum and Sarah Huls won at No. 2 and Mikaila Spalding and Abby Wilson took a win at No. 3.
After Henjum's singles win Russell followed with a victory at No. 2. Shannon Dinovo won at No. 3 and Anna Ristic won at No. 4 as they both improved to a team-leading 5-0. Lindsay Loveland fell at No. 5 and Elizabeth Glogowski won at No. 6.
The Mavs will finish their busy weekend with a noon dual against Sioux Falls Sunday at Hanscom.
