Mavs Edged 5-4 by St. Cloud State

ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Nebraska-Omaha won two of three doubles matches but lost four singles matches to fall 5-4 to St. Cloud State in the Mavs' final North Central Conference dual of the year. UNO is now 15-5 and 4-1 in the NCC.
Pam Le and Maggie Russell won at No. 1 doubles for UNO to improve their record to 11-3 and Lindsay Henjum and Sarah Huls went to 15-1 with a win at No. 2.
In singles the Mavs got wins from Huls (9-5) at No. 2 and Henjum (9-5) at No. 3.
The Mavs had a few chances to take the deciding point from the Huskies. Russell's singles match at No. 4 went into a tie-breaker where she lost 10-7 and Mikaila Spalding and Abby Wilson lost 9-8 in No. 3 doubles.
The Mavericks will travel to Drake Wednesday for a 3:30 p.m. dual to wrap up the regular season. They will then return home to host the NCC tournament April 23-24.
