Mavs Looking for First NCC Title this Weekend

The Mavericks will look to improve on their third-place finishes the last three years at the North Central Conference tournament when they host the event this Friday and Saturday at Hanscom Park Tennis Center. Competition will begin at 9 a.m. Friday. Seven teams will compete for the women's title and four will compete for the men's title. This is the third straight year UNO has hosted the event.
The Mavs are 15-5 overall and played NCC teams to a 4-1 record, losing to St. Cloud State. In this week's NCAA regional ranking the Mavs were third in the North Central Region behind No. 1 Northwest Missouri State and No. 2 Washburn. The top two teams in each region host an NCAA regional.
