Mavs Shut Out Minnesota State for 15th win

ST. PETER, Minn. - Anna Ristic improved to 9-0 on the year and Sarah Huls and Lindsay Henjum jumped to 14-1 in doubles as the Mavs shut out Minnesota State, Mankato 9-0 Friday night in a neutral-sight match. UNO moved its record to 15-4.
In doubles Pam Le and Maggie Russell improved to 10-3 with the win at No. 1 while Mikaila Spalding and Abby Wilson won their eighth match at No. 3.
Sara Batchelor got the Mavs started in singles with a win at No. 1 to go to 9-7 in the top spot while Maggie Russell improved to 9-2 in her second match at No. 2. Abby Wilson won at No. 3 to improve to 9-5. Shannon Dinovo won at No. 4 to go to 11-3 and continue to lead the Mavs in singles victories this year. Spalding won at No. 5 to up her record to 8-5. Ristic's win at No. 6 improved her record to 17-1 in her two years at UNO.
The Mavs are now 4-0 in NCC play going into their last conference dual Saturday at last year's tournament runner-up St. Cloud State. That dual will begin at noon.
