Soccer 26-Game Home Unbeaten Streak Erased

Omaha, Ne--Truman State was able to avenge two losses from last year as they beat No. 16 UNO 1-0. With the defeat, UNO suffers its first loss at home dating back 26 games.
The Mavericks and the Bulldogs went scoreless into halftime but in the 48th minute Truman struck with the game-deciding goal. Bulldog forward Sara Murray broke through the middle and netted her 5th goal of the season. Despite having 13 shots on goal the Mavericks were unable to connect. Truman goalkeeper Lauren Davis stopped 13 UNO shots as she garnered the shutout. Goalkeeper Amy Price recorded six saves for UNO.
Tomorrow UNO will face Central Missouri at 2:15 p.m. at Ak-Sar-Ben Field.
