Pam Le Sweeps 4 Sets in Wichita Meet

WICHITA, KAN. -- Maverick senior Pam Le swept all four of her singles matches over the weekend in the Wichita Intercollegiate Tennis Championships. The Ames, Iowa, veteran lost just one set during the tournament.
Le defeated Taylor McKinley of Baker University 6-0, 6-2; Allison Cobb of William Jewell, 6-4, 6-2; Dixie Matzen of Kansas Newman, 6-3, 6-1, and Audrie Miller of Washburn, 5-7, 6-2, 10-3.
Le and teammate Maggie Russell also went 2-1 in doubles competition in the meet.
The other Mavericks and their records: Sarah Huls, 1-2; Katie Gharst, 0-2; Russell, 2-1; Abby Wilson, 1-1; Lindsay Henjum, 1-1; Elizabeth Glogowski, 2-2; Kylie Roe, 1-1; Sara Bredfelt, 3-1. In doubles competition, Russell and Le were 2-1; Huls-Henjum 1-1; Wilson-Gharst, 2-1; Bredfelt-Roe 2-1, and Glogowski-Audra Scopen, 2-1.
