Soccer Earns First Player of the Week Honor

Sioux Falls, S.D.---Danielle McCawley, a freshman defender from Ralston, Neb, was named Tuesday the North Central Conference Offensive Player of the Week. While leading the Mavericks to a 1-1 weekend, McCawley recorded the game-winning goal and also added an assist in a 4-1 victory over Central Missouri State.
McCawley has four point in five games for the 3-2-0 Mavericks.
Next opponents for the Mavs come this weekend starting with Saturday versus nationally No. 16-ranked Southwest Baptist slated for 1 p.m., and on Sunday against Missouri Southern also at 1 p.m.
