Mavericks Garner Shutout Win

Springfield, MO.--UNO connected on three goals as they pick up a shutout win versus the Panthers of Drury.
Sophomore Beth McGill scored her third goal of the season on a pass from freshman forward Brandie Beale for the only score in the first period. Early into the second half, Amber Richardson netted the second goal of the game unassisted and Christen Boeckel connected on a goal with 15 minutes remaining to secure the win. Goalkeepers Amy Price and Ellen Petersen combined for the first shutout of the season for the Mavericks. With the win UNO runs its record to 2-1-0
