Thursday's North Central Conference game at the DakotaDome will feature a pair of ranked teams as No. 23 UNO will try to stop a two-game losing skid against No. 18 South Dakota. Tip-off is at 8 p.m., with the game broadcast on KOZN, 1620 AM.
The Mavericks will bring a 15-3 overall record, but a 1-2 NCC mark into the game, while the Coyotes, 15-1, will be trying to protect its 2-0 league record.
Last year, the teams split four meetings. Each team won on the road during the regular season before UNO downed the Coyotes in the NCC Wells Fargo Finals championship game. USD then turned the tables, ending the Mavericks' season in the first round of the NCAA II regional tournament in Denver.
