Mavericks to Hold Red-Black Tune-up Jan. 29

Coach Bill Nichols' team will hold an exhibition match as a tune-up for the start of the 2005 season. Six Maverick alums will return to team up with the current roster for a Red-Black match at Hanscom Park Tennis Center on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m.
The Black team, captained by senior Pamela Le, will include Abby Wilson, Elizabeth Glogowski, Maggie Russell, Sara Bredfeldt and Jenny Miller, in addition to former Mavs M.J. Robertson, Lindsay Loveland and Sara Batchelor.
The Red team, captained by senior Sarah Huls, includes Lindsay Henjum, Katie Gharst, Katie Spahn and Kylie Roe, plus alums Maggie Wear, Jenika Schmidt and Anna Ristic.
The Mavericks open the 2005 season on Friday, Feb. 4, hosting Nebraska Wesleyan at 6:30 p.m. at Hanscom Park.
