McGill Named NCC Offensive Player of the Week

Junior forward Beth McGill was named the North Central Conference offensive player of the week for her efforts last week as she helped keep the Mavs undefeated in NCC play. McGill scored two goals and an assist last Friday against Augustana and added a goal and an assist against South Dakota. She finished the week with eight points and pushed her season total to 22. The Mavs improved to 11-1-0 and 7-0-0 in the conference after the two wins.
Nebraska-Omaha will host a key pair of games as it looks to hold onto a perfect conference record. On Saturday the Mavericks will host St. Cloud State at 1 p.m. and on Sunday they will host Minnesota State, also unbeaten, at 1 p.m.
