Mavericks Fall to Bulldogs 8-1

The UNO Tennis Team dropped its second straight match to a Division I opponent this weekend when it suffered an 8-1 defeat at the hands of Drake University.
The only point for the Mavericks came in No. 2 doubles, where Abby Wilson and Katie Schmidt defeated Cheen Alkahatib and Eveline Rusdianto by a final score of 9-8.
The Mavericks, now 3-4 overall, will return to action Friday evening at Hanscom Park when they take on the University of Nebraska-Kearney in a 6:30 dual.
