Mavs Slip Past Lopers 5-4

The UNO tennis team won four of six singles match to pull out a 5-4 victory over Nebraska-Kearney on Friday night.

The Mavericks trailed the Lopers 2-1 after doubles competition, but got victories from Sarah Huls, Pam Le, Lindsay Henjum and Katie Spahn to get the victory.

The Mavericks, now 4-4 overall, return to action on Sunday to begin conference play against Minnesota State, Mankato in a noon dual at Hanscom Park.
