Tennis Team Downs Huskies

The Tennis team remained undefeated in conference play with an 8-1 victory over St. Cloud State, the No. 3 ranked team in the region, Friday night at Hanscom Park.
The Mavericks(14-4, 5-0)earned victories in singles competition from seniors Lindsay Henjum, Sarah Huls and Pam Le.
In other action Katie Schmidt earned a straight set victory over Nicole Lechner at No. 1 singles, while Maggie Russell needed an extra session to dispatch SCSU's Sara Eull at No. 2 singles.
Pam Le improved her singles record to 14-2 after defeating Kim Lindblom in No. 4 singles.
The Mavericks will head to Vermillion, S.D.,to finish out their conference schedule in a 3:30 dual with South Dakota tomorrow afternoon.
