Beale Named NCC Offensive Player of the Week

Maverick forward Brandie Beale was named the North Central Conference player of the week Tuesday after scoring a pair of game-winners last weekend. Her goals came as UNO squeaked out a pair of 2-1 wins over Central Missouri State and Truman. The Independence, Mo., native leads Nebraska-Omaha with six points off three goals this year.
The Mavs will open their home and NCC portions of the schedule Friday at 4 p.m. when they host Augustana at the Soccer Field at Ak-Sar-Ben.
