Rain Slashes Final Round of Tournament

MARSHALL, Minn. -- The final round of the Southwest Minnesota State Invitational golf tournament was rained out Sunday, leaving the Mavs in fifth place and senior Amanda Stock tied for fourth.
Stock shot a first-round 79 and trailed the leader, Rachel Schmidt of Upper Iowa, by two shots on the par-72, 5,978-yard Marshall Country Club course.
Host Southwest Minnesota State was declared the champion with an 18-hole total of 324. UNO was eight shots back at 332.
