OMAHA -Â The Omaha women's golf team begins its season on Monday and Tuesday with the Fall Stampede at The Creek at Indian Creek Golf Club. Rounds one and two will be on Monday with round three on Tuesday. Action on both days will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The Mavericks will have a lot of new faces this season as the Mavs return just four players from last year's team. Eden Larson, Elly Honnens, Kiara Montebon, Sarah Lasso, Natalie Henson and Zhana Navato will compete for the Mavs on the team side while Ady Johnson will compete as an individual.Â
Victoria Grasso enters her fourth season at the helm of the Mavs and is looking to improve on its seventh-place finish last season at the Summit League Championship.
