Richardson, McGill Goals Fuel UNO Win

ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- Amber Richardson and Beth McGill scored first half goals just 3:15 apart as No. 1 ranked UNO posted a 2-0 North Central Conference soccer win over St. Cloud State Saturday.
The Mavericks improved to 14-0 overall and 8-0 in the NCC before Sunday's 1 p.m. match at Minnesota State, Mankato.
Richardson converted passes from Brandie Beale and Amanda Iwansky at 22:19 to give the Mavericks a 1-0 lead. McGill followed with her 13th of the season at 25:34 oon a pass from Beale.
UNO outshot the Huskies, 33-5, and had a 13-1 margin in shots on goal.
