2 Iwansky Goals Help Sink USD, 4-1

VERMILLION, S.D. -- Amanda Iwansky scored twice and added an assist Sunday as No. 1 ranked UNO remained unbeaten with a 4-1 North Central Conference win over South Dakota. The Mavericks are now 13-0 overall and 7-0 in the league, while the Coyotes fell to 6-5-1 and 3-3.
UNO held a 1-0 lead at the half before securing a three-goal margin with goals just 64 seconds apart in the second half
Iwansky opened scoring at 21:42 on assists by Beth McGill and Jessica Powers.
Amber Richardson and Brandie Beale scored the two quick goals at 52:29 and 53:43. Iwansky assisted on Beale's goal at 53:43 and scored her eighth of the year unassisted at 78:14.
UNO goalkeeper Ellen Petersen was called on to make a season-high seven saves in the game.
The Mavericks are next in action this weekend with matches at St. Cloud State Saturday and Minnesota State, Mankato Sunday.
