Mavs Head to Lincoln for Exhibition

The University of Nebraska-Omaha plays its second of two exhibition games against the Cornhuskers of Nebraska-Lincoln Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. at the Devaney Sports Center.
The Mavericks dropped their first preseason game last week, falling 73-56 to No. 19 Creighton. UNO trailed by only one point at halftime, but a seven-minute scoring drought allowed the Bluejays to pull away and seal the win. Michael Jenkins led the Mavs with 15 points.
The Huskers went 1-1 in their exhibition schedule. They defeated Nebraska-Kearney 74-72 on Nov. 6, on a last-second 3-pointer by freshman Ryan Anderson. UNL fell to Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, 54-50, last Saturday.
This game will be the regular-season opener for the Huskers.
