Mavs Fall To Gusties 7-2

The Maverick tennis team suffered its first loss of the season against Gustavus Adolphus 7-2 on Friday night in St. Peter, Minn.
Junior Maggie Russell and sophomore Kylie Roe teamed up a No. 3 doubles to defeat Laura Arnbeck and Jill Bailey.
In singles competition, Kelsey Cochran beat out Erica Dobson in the tiebreaker match at No. 6 singles to give UNO its final point on the evening.
UNO returns to action tomorrow with a pair of matches. In early action, the Mavericks will take on NCC rival North Dakota beginning at 9 a.m., finishing up the day with a second match against the Gusties beginning at 1 p.m.
