Mavericks Down Chicago State 8-1

The Maverick tennis team got back into the win column on Saturday afternoon with an 8-1 victory over Chicago State at Hanscom Park.
Sophomore Jenny Miller earned her first victory of the year at No. 5 singles against Chicago State's Ulanda Fulford.
The Cougars who only had five eligible players earned their only point of the contest at No. 1 doubles when Cristina Vlase and Yosefin Rustandar posted an 8-4 win over UNO's Katie Schmidt and Abby Wilson.
UNO improves to 6-4 on the season with the victory while the Cougars drop to 0-6.
The Mavericks will get two weeks off to prepare for a series of 6 matches in seven days beginning on Tuesday April 4th with a dual against Washburn University in Topeka, KS.
