Mavs Return to Action Against Washburn

The Maverick tennis team will kick off a series of five matches in six days on Tuesday in Topeka in a 4 p.m. match with Washburn University.
Following Tuesday's match, UNO returns home to face off with NCC foe South Dakota on Wednesday at Koch Family Tennis Center beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Last season, the Mavericks(6-4) fell to Washburn 6-3 in the final regular season match of the year, but rebounded to post a 5-2 victory over the Lady Blues to capture the North Central Regional Championship. Washburn holds a
5-1 all time record over the Mavericks.
The Mavericks hold a 4-0 all-time record over South Dakota, including an 8-1 victory last April in Vermillion.
