Mavs Close Out Season Against Cyclones

The Maverick tennis team will look to end its 2006 season on a high note, on Saturday afternoon on the road against Iowa State University starting at noon.
The Mavericks, ranked second in the North Central region, are coming off a 6-3 loss to Northwest Missouri State on Tuesday, while the Cyclones are 3-10 this season before hosting Missouri on Friday.
Following the match with Iowa State, the Mavericks(10-6,6-0 NCC) will start preparing for the North Central Conference Tournament, held April 21-22, hosted by the University of North Dakota.
The match also marks senior Abby Wilson's final regular season match as a Maverick. Wilson, ranks second all-time in doubles victories with 48, and third in singles wins with 39.
This will be the first meeting on the tennis court between the Cyclones and the Mavericks.
