Mavericks Fall To Cyclones 9-0

AMES, Iowa - The Maverick tennis team ended its regular 2006 season with a 9-0 loss to Iowa State on Saturday afternoon.
For the Mavericks, they finish the season 10-7 overall and 6-0 in conference play. The last time UNO was shut out during the regular season was in February of 2004, when it lost to Creighton 7-0.
The Mavericks will look to defend their title next weekend in the North Central Conference Tournament, being held at the University of North Dakota.
