Mavs Ready For NCC Tournament

The Maverick tennis team will look for its second straight conference title this weekend at the 2006 North Central Conference Tournament, hosted by the University of North Dakota.
UNO finished the regular season 10-7 overall, while going undefeated in conference play.
The Mavericks earned their first conference title last season, ending North Dakota's two year reign in the top spot. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic bid for the North Central Region Tournament.
Other teams that will compete in the tournament are: North Dakota, South Dakota, St. Cloud State, Augustana College, Minnesota State, Mankato and Minnesota-Duluth.
The women's side of the tournament will kick off on Friday, with the conference champion crowned on Saturday.
