Mavericks Host Vikings, Visit Huskies This Week

The University of Nebraska-Omaha men's team will try to get back into the win column, playing two North Central Conference games this week. Thursday night UNO hosts Augustana, then Saturday afternoon the Mavericks will visit St. Cloud State to take on the Huskies.
The Mavs dropped an 83-60 decision to the Vikings in the NCC opener on Jan. 4 at the Sioux Falls Arena. The 60-point output was the team's second-worst of the season.
The Vikings have lost two in a row, last falling to No. 5 Minnesota State in a close contest, 81-76, at Mankato. It was a two-point game with 17.9 seconds left, but MSU held out for the win. Augustana lost by an identical score to St. Cloud State a week prior, its first back-to-back losses on the year. The Vikings did not crack the Top 25 in the most recent poll, but did receive votes.
The Huskies have won two conference games in a row, defeating Augustana and Minnesota Duluth. In between they lost a nonconference meeting with Sioux Falls.
