Mavs Travel to St. Cloud for Season-Opening Tourne

For the second season in a row, the University of Nebraska-Omaha men's basketball team kicks off the season at the American Family Hoopster Classic, hosted by St. Cloud State. And once again, the Mavericks' first game of the year will be against the University of Mary on Friday, then a Saturday game against Bemidji State.
This will be the fourth meeting all-time between UNO and Mary, with the Mavericks winning each of the three previous contests, including a 64-61 win in last year's opener. Saturday's game with Bemidji State will be just the second ever, with the last occuring on Dec. 29, 1972, won by the Mavs, 83-70.
