Senior forward Denny Johnston, who scored 23 points, had five rebounds and four assists while leading No. 22 UNO to a 105-91 win over No. 7 Emporia State Saturday night, has been named a North Central Conference player of the week. He shares the award with North Dakota's Ervin Youmans.
Johnston, from Omaha, hit on 9 of 13 shots from the field (69.2 percent) and was 3 for 5 from three-point range.
