Mavs Sweep Nebraska Wesleyan in Season Opener

OMAHA, Neb. -- The University of Nebraska at Omaha tennis team opened the 2007 season with an 8-0 sweep of visiting Nebraska Wesleyan Sunday afternoon at Hanscom Tennis Center.
The Mavericks (1-0) won five of the six singles' matches in straight sets with the No. 6 singles unfinished due to time constraints.
The Mavericks will return to competition next Friday when they travel to St. Peter, Minn. for a 6 p.m. match at Gustavus Adolphus.
