Mavs Begin Difficult Week Against Huskies Thursday
Feb 7, 2007 | Men's Basketball
The University of Nebraska-Omaha men's team has a difficult slate of games over the next seven days, starting Thursday with NCC foe St. Cloud State, then No. 9 Minnesota State Saturday.
St. Cloud State, last week ranked No. 5 in the North Central region, has dropped two in a row, but still stands at 16-7 on the year, 5-3 in conference play. Minnesota State, ranked No. 9 in the country, features the NCC's top scorer, Luke Anderson.
Zac Robinson will try again to crack two milestones, needing just two 3-pointers to become the school's all-time leader, and 11 points for 1,000 in his career.
The Mavs then have a nonconference meeting at Nebraska-Kearney, last week ranked No. 4 in the region, on Tuesday.
