Gustavus Adolphus Downs Mavericks, 7-2

ST. PETER, Minn. -- Gustavus Adolphus won seven straight matches Friday night to claim a 7-2 non-conference tennis win over the Mavericks. UNO will face Winona State at 9 a.m. and North Dakota at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Rachel Faulk and Maggie Russell each improved to 2-0 on the season with wins at the Nos. 1 and 2 singles spots before Gustavus Adolphus responded, winning four singles matches and then sweeping the three doubles matches.
UNO is now 1-1 on the season.
