TULSA, Okla. - Omaha Women's Tennis finished its first weekend of fall competition on Sunday at the Tulsa Invite.
Senior Khayli Buckels (Ballwin, Mo.) passed a career milestone, becoming the sixth player in program history to have 100 career wins.
In doubles, Buckels and junior Katelynn Kock (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) secured a 6-4 win. Later in the day, Buckels won 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 over Arkansas State's McAslin.
"Very high-level tournament this weekend in Tulsa," head coach Adam Summitt said. "This was great experience for everyone. Friday, we showed a lot of rust and nerves, but we bounced back on Saturday and Sunday with some more competitive matches. We have a lot of work to do before our next event."
Fall play will continue at the Marquette Invite starting on Friday, Oct. 16 and ending on Sunday, Oct. 18.
