UNO Grabs Team Title; Wolfe is 2nd

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- Sara Wolfe shot a closing-round 81 Monday and four Mavericks finished in the top eight as UNO captured its first tournament title of the spring season at the Missouri Western Invitational.
Wolfe, who shot an 83 Sunday, finished with a 164 total, two shots behind individual champion Rachael Schmidt of Upper Iowa.
UNO's 325 total Monday was good for a 664. Upper Iowa was second at 692.
Lynn Mulligan, tied for the first-round lead, shot 85 Monday on the par-72 Moira Country Club course and tied for third at 166. Kate O'Dea rebouned from an opening 88 to shoot the second-best round of the day, 79, to finish fifth at 167 and Errin Ommen bounced back from an opening 87 to shoot an 81 and finish at 168.
UNO's next action will be this weekend at the Augustana Spring Tournament in Sioux Falls, S.D., Friday and Saturday.
