Mavericks Defeat Minnesota State, 8-1

The Mavericks recorded their sixth straight win Friday night with an 8-1 North Central Conference decision over Minnesota State, Mankato at Hanscom Park Tennis Center.
UNO, now 7-1, dropped the No. 1 singles match, the first loss of the year for sophomore Rachel Faulk, then swept past MSU, which fell to 2-4 on the season.
Maggie Russell improved her record to 7-1 and Kylie Roe to 6-1 with their singles victories.
The Mavs' next action will come on March 16 when they host Northwest Missouri State at 6:30 p.m.
