Creighton Defeats Mavs, 8-1

Maggie Russell and Rachel Faulk teamed up for UNO's only win as Creighton handed the Mavericks an 8-1 setback at Hanscom Park Tennis Center Friday.

Creighton swept singles play in the non-conference meet, and won two of the three doubles matches. Faulk and Russell improved their doubles mark to 9-3 on the season.

UNO, in suffering its fourth-straight defeat, fell to 8-5. The Mavericks are next in action Wednesday at Rockhurst in Kansas City, Mo.
