Mavericks Earn At-Large Bid Into NCAA II Tournamen

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA II Women's Soccer Committee announced today the field of 48 teams that qualified for the 2008 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship, with Nebraska-Omaha (13-5-0) earning an at-large bid as the No. 4 seed. The Mavericks will play fifth-seed Texas A&M Commerce (13-3-3) on Friday, Nov. 14 in Warrensburg, Mo. at 1 p.m.
The winner of the match will take on the No. 1 seed in the South Central Region and MIAA Champions, Central Missouri (15-3-2) on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. UNO defeated the Jennies, 3-0 on Nov. 8.
This will be the first-ever meeting between UNO and Texas A&M Commerce.
