Mavericks Edge Graceland, 5-4

Redshirt freshman Jenna Nielsen's win at No. 6 singles helped the University of Nebraska at Omaha edge Graceland, 5-4, Friday night at Hanscom Park Tennis Center. The nonconference win hiked UNO to 3-0 on the season.
Nielsen, who also teamed with freshman Sarah Wheeland for a win at No. 3 doubles, defeated Graceland senior Jamie King, 6-3, 7-5, for her first singles win of the year.
Rachel Faulk and Kylie Roe also posted a win at No. 1 doubles and each produced singles wins to carry the Mavericks. It was Graceland's season-opening match.
UNO will return to the courts to host North Central Conference foe South Dakota on Feb. 29.
